Fox Host Falsely Claims Trump Supports Gay Marriage

Fact Check: Trump Has Repeatedly Publicly Opposed Marriage Equality

From the August 15 edition of Fox News' Outnumbered

Video file

GREG GUTFELD: I was excited when [Donald Trump] declared he was going to run, I thought it was great, because he was smashing this duopoly that we always talk about, of left versus right.

HARRIS FAULKNER (CO-HOST): Absolutely.

GUTFELD: And I think he has actually succeeded in smashing it for good. Republicans are no longer the same Republicans and Democrats are no longer the same Democrats, and it has a lot to do with the fact that he floated from one side to the other and back again. Evangelicals are behind a pro-gay marriage candidate. That is kind of a revolution.
