The latest Obama vacation nonsense

Poor reading comprehension by Michelle Malkin's guest blogger Doug Powers does not stop him today from pushing the latest comically lame installment of ODS: Obama didn't really swim in the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend during his visit to the Florida Panhandle. Instead, he was seen in a White House-released photograph swimming with his daughter in a nearby bay.
From Powers finger-pointing report [emphasis added]:
According to the White House website, Obama swam off Alligator Point, which is not in the Gulf, but rather in Saint Andrews Bay.
If Glenn Beck said he swam in the Gulf but was actually in the Bay, it would be splashed all over Media Matters by now.
Slight problem -- did Obama, or the anyone at the White House, say the president went swimming in the Guif? No. As Power himself points out, according to the White House website Obama was photographed swimming in Saint Andrews Bay.
In other words, the White House released a photo accurately describing Obama's swim in San Andrews Bay, and today right-wing bloggers are doing their patented shriek-fest over the fact that the White House accurately described Obama's swim in San Andrews Bay.
Told you it was nonsense.
