President Barack Obama plans an afternoon press conference for Thursday at 1 p.m., sparking several news outlets to declare it is his first since last July.
Not true, as Media Matters has previously noted. He held press conferences with questions in February and April, among others.
Of course, now some say this is his first “full-blown” press conference since July. What does that mean? Is any press conference long enough to satisfy all reporters? Of course not.
