Among the many speakers slated to appear at the September 12 “March on Washington” is serial health care misinformer Betsy McCaughey, whose months-long campaign against health care reform has been noteworthy for its many factual inaccuracies:
- McCaughey returns to CNBC with another false health care attack
- At it again: McCaughey distorts Ezekiel Emanuel's writings to smear him as “Rationer-in-Chief”
- On Fox & Friends, McCaughey advances falsehood that House bill would force people into “government designed plan”
- Fox again hosts McCaughey to push health care reform falsehoods
- On Hannity, McCaughey falsely claims stimulus provision would “deliver protocols that will tell your doctor to limit care to what the government's advisers deem cost-effective”
McCaughey's false claims have been debunked and corrected again and again in the media, and McCaughey herself has backtracked and hedged on several of her own false claims.
