FOX suppressed news of O'Reilly sexual harassment suit: 1 hour 22 minutes on MSNBC, 31 minutes on CNN, but 36 seconds on FOX

On October 14, cable news channels devoted varying amounts of coverage to lawsuits filed in connection with an allegation of sexual harassment against FOX News Channel and radio host Bill O'Reilly. MSNBC devoted one hour and 22 minutes, CNN devoted almost 31 minutes, and FOX News Channel devoted 36 seconds (on The O'Reilly Factor) to the subject. Media Matters for America analyzed coverage on each channel between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. ET on October 14, the day after the lawsuits were filed.
