Since his departure from Fox News last June, Glenn Beck has been desperately seeking attention. He scheduled an event in Jerusalem and predicted that a "pillar of fire" might appear at the event. The event was also supposed to "change the direction of the world" and open the "very gates of heaven."
Now he returned to Fox to be interviewed by Bill O'Reilly. Beck was hawking GBTV, his Internet TV show that made its debut today. But in order to do that, he had to bear O'Reilly's mockery. O'Reilly made fun of Beck's obsession with gold, GBTV itself, and Beck's newly acquired facial hair.
It's quite a fall for Beck.
