Earlier, I wrote that nobody needs to “elevate” Rush Limbaugh to a position of leadership in the conservative movement -- he's enjoyed such a position for two decades.

Here's another example: Georgia Republican Congressman Phil Gingrey was critical of Limbaugh yesterday -- and today Gingrey called Rush to beg forgiveness.
