I've often wondered if Andrew Breitbart, who's made a career out of peddling attention-grabbing, outrageous, and sometimes gross false claims, ever worries that he'll run out of crazy falsehoods to spread.

Well today Breitbart, who's busy coming up with falsehoods for a new guerilla video from protégé James O'Keefe that is so boring even Fox News won't cover it, tried to get a little creative and starting telling falsehoods about... telling falsehoods:

BREITBART: We're just reporting the truth, and they never come back to us and say, “this is false,” they just impugn us.

No, just, no. The claims on Breitbart's “Big” sites can rarely be accurately called “reporting” or “truth.” And I know that he knows better than to say “they never come back to us and say 'this is false,' ” since his team is clearly familiar with our work (and our hairstyles). After all, we've created memos telling people not to trust his claims, we've pointed out Breitbart's site's deceitful editing practices, we've pleaded with Breitbart's official correction demand-er (which, naturally, is an alpaca) to call for Breitbart to correct his false claims, and our debunking of his claims about the heavily edited ACORN tapes was even backed up by New York prosecutors, and the California Attorney General.
