Bill Maher’s Overtime segment will now appear on Friday nights on CNN. This move comes after CNN chairman Chris Licht has tried to pivot to the right in order to appeal to conservatives and Fox News viewers. 

Maher, who used the N-word on his show in 2017, has long been applauded by Fox News for attacking the left and what they refer to as woke culture. While he was once known for attacking Fox News and urging marijuana legalization, Maher has increasingly attacked critical race theory and gender affirming care for children. Nowadays, viewers are more likely to find his views in the opinion shows of Fox News than mainstream discussion.
