From the October 12 edition of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360:

ANDERSON COOPER (HOST): Does it -- do you think it's just a coincide that this comports to what Donald Trump said on that bus? Or do you think this women are somehow influenced by that?

KAYLEIGH MCENANY: I don't think he said that on the bus at all. You know, he said “when you are a celebrity, women let you do x y and z,” those comments were appalling, but --

COOPER: Right, but he said he didn't wait for it, he just kisses them and then he grabs their genitalia.

MCENANY: Look, when you go back and watch it, it says “when women let -- women let you do this when you are a star.” There are despicable comments, I don't think he was advocating sexual assault on that bus, I think --

COOPER: Well, that is sexual assault.

MCENANY: I think it was very horrific.

COOPER: Just to be honest, sexual assault is any kind of behavior without -- sexual behavior without consent.

JEFFREY LORD: And rape is rape.

MCENANY: And rape is rape, and I don't think he was saying that on the bus. I really don't think he was condoning that.

COOPER: Grabbing a woman's genitals is not --

MCENANY: I don't think he was condoning that, I don't think he was saying that that's what he does in his own life. I think these are accusations --

COOPER: Alright, let's listen -- let's listen to that sound.

[...]

COOPER: So, because a woman does not fight back, it's not sexual assault?

MCENANY: Let me start by saying again what I've said before, because I know all of these liberal outlets out there will completely take me out of context. Those comments are despicable, he apologized for them.

That being said, I don't think he was condoning sexual assault. He said he starts to kiss a woman and then they let him do X, Y or Z. That implies consent, first of all. I don't think he was advocating sexual assault.

COOPER: How does that imply consent?

MCENANY: You might think he's gone around assaulting women, I don't think that's the case. I think viewers and voters will make up their own mind.
