MARK LEVIN (HOST): But ladies and gentlemen, this is the problem with national populism progressivism, because that's what it is. It's not exactly progressivism statism, but is a statism, and it is an attack on private property, and it is an attack on the private sector.

You want to create a strong private sector, and create more jobs, and keep more jobs here, and even better, attract more companies to come here, you slash taxes, and you slash regulations. Good, they got one right.

But now this part about where we’re like a banana republic? I remember that video I played on Levin TV where the late, not great, Hugo Chavez is walking down the street, and he was pointing at buildings and he’s saying “You see that building there?” And the press, “yeah yeah yeah,” -- “Expropriated.” “See that over there?” ”Yes.” “Expropriated.” “Expropriated.”

Walking down -- well, what now? Gonna walk down industry row? “You, you wanna send some business overseas? Nah, I’m taxing you 35 percent. You? Nah, nah, I’m hitting you too. “You? Okay I know you, you’re okay.” That’s not something we should support, that’s not something we should applaud.
