KATIE PAVLICH: Well, look, Donald Trump is the man of the show, and we definitely saw that last night in that interview with 60 Minutes. But I think, what was interesting to me is the way the questions were asked. The reporter and the anchor in that interview asked Donald Trump and Mike Pence questions to pit each other against each other, whereas when Hillary Clinton is interviewed with her vice president, I doubt that we'll see the same type of questions asked of her and her vice president, trying to find the differences between the two and pointing out their differences rather than what makes them the same, and asking Mike Pence so we can get to know him and what he actually believes.

MARTHA MACCALLUM: That's an interesting point. I mean, one of the first things was, you know, what do you think about the McCain comment and having him bounce off. But it's clear, and I don't think it comes as any big surprise to anybody that Donald Trump is the star here. He's the top of the ticket and that's always the person who does most of the talking, so what jumped out at you Nomiki?

NOMIKI KONST: Well, exactly that, I mean he was the alpha dog. There were little moments where he would touch Mike Pence's leg to say okay, you can talk or you can't talk and oh, I'll let you say that. There were little moments  where he was giving him permission. It would have been nice to have a one-on-one interview with Mike Pence because I did learn a lot about Mike Pence. I was surprised by his demeanor, his deep understanding of foreign policy -- while I don't agree with it -- and I do think that he has some very specific differences between Donald Trump, but it will balance out the ticket more especially given that Donald Trump will have to move towards the center, especially on trade issues. I mean I was really surprised to see that Donald Trump said he was for free trade, especially when he's trying to attract those rust belt voters who are against free trade right now.
