Some Fox “news” anchors are lying about why Canada’s national broadcaster aired the 1992 movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York without President Donald Trump’s brief cameo.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation gave an official explanation that the edit was made back in 2014, when the network first acquired the license for the movie, and was just one of many cuts. The total edits added up to 8 minutes, in order to make room for commercials.
But on the December 27, 2019, edition of Fox News’ America’s Newsroom, co-anchors Leland Vittert and Molly Line sarcastically cast doubt on the CBC’s official explanation.
