When a caller on The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly complained that the United States is calling “everybody that's resisting our attack” in Iraq “terrorists,” co-host E.D. Hill said, “He didn't wanna talk about that in any serious way,” then served up her factual retort: “If they [Iraqi insurgents] were fighting for their country, as you say, they would have fought for Saddam Hussein. They would not be fighting for an Egyptian, Zarqawi.” Moments later, she emphasized her point: “They're fighting with an Egyptian.”

Zarqawi is Jordanian.

CALLER: I've been listening to you for a couple of months -- maybe three months now. And I've been dying to get on the phone and talk to you. First of all, I disagree with a lot of things that you say. If we're gonna attack a country just because the regime is an oppressive regime, then we need to attack a lot of the countries in the Middle East. And take the leaders out.

We invade a country and we are going into Fallujah right now. And we're calling everybody that's resisting our attack “terrorists.” These people are defending their country. They don't want anybody in their country and they want us out of there.

BILL O'REILLY [co-host]: They're defending their country?

CALLER: Absolutely.

O'REILLY: [laugh]. All right, [caller's name] --

HILL: He didn't wanna talk about that in any serious way.

O'REILLY: You know, [caller's name], they're defending their country. Um, it's so absurd. If they were defending their country they would have fought for Saddam Hussein, OK? Instead of blowing up civilians in Baghdad.

HILL: Right. If they were fighting for their country, as you say, they would have fought for Saddam Hussein. They would not be fighting for an Egyptian, Zarqawi.

O'REILLY: Right. Hey [caller's name], why don't you call back? I wanna yell at you [laugh]. I just feel like yellin' at [caller's name].

HILL: But it's just -- the very nature of what he said is ridiculous.

O'REILLY: Because he's -- he's a --

HILL: They're fighting with an Egyptian. They're fighting with Jordanian militants.
