MARTHA MACCALLUM (CO-HOST): He's clearly saying we're not going boots on the ground in Ukraine, and the -- you know, we're completely defensive. There's no offense in these countries.
DANA PERINO (CO-HOST): He says -- he says -- I mean, it's amazing to me that an American president said, "We are just purely defensive here." Like, why is that? I don't understand why we waited on these sanctions. I understand he thought that it would be a deterrent against it, but he had already escalated so much. He should have been sanctioned earlier.
