Today on Fox & Friends Saturday, Fox hosted former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) to talk about President Obama's chances for reelection. Unsurprisingly, Santorum -- who was suspended as a Fox News contributor while he considers a run for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination -- did not think Obama had particularly good chance of being reelected.
While hosting Santorum, Fox News' caption writers did their best to support Santorum's position. As Santorum spoke, Fox aired a split-screen of him and Obama while showing on-screen text asserting: “Sinking Approval: Why The White House Is Out Of Touch.”
