Fox & Friends repeats debunked claim that Manafort's illegal activity predated involvement in Trump campaign

Hosts and guests on Fox & Friends repeatedly, and falsely, asserted that alleged illegal activities undertaken by President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort took place before Manafort joined the campaign. According to an indictment issued on October 30 by special counsel Robert Mueller, Manafort unlawfully hid Ukrainian payments from U.S. authorities “from approximately 2006 through at least 2016,” when Manafort had served as Trump’s campaign chairman.
