Fox & Friends on Sarah Sanders being denied service at a restaurant: “It's hateful and it's rude. ... Is that discrimination?”

Hosts also suggest a speech from Rep. Maxine Waters contributed to several protests, which happened before she spoke

From the June 25 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): It looks like the whole world's gone crazy in some respects. There's all this political intimidation going on. You've got Stephen Miller down in Washington couldn't eat out. Kirstjen Nielsen couldn't eat out. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, we're going to talk about that in a minute, and then you got Pam Bondi down in Florida, she simply tried to go to the Mr. Rogers movie, and she was heckled --

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): She was not welcome in the neighborhood.

DOOCY: Nope, not at all.

PETE HEGSETH (CO-HOST): And why does this stuff like this happen? And that's the question. What is leading to the environment in which members of the Trump administration are confronted, not just based on their professional capacity but in their personal capacity with their family out to eat.

EARHARDT: Maybe because you have leaders in this country that are now pushing for it. Maxine Waters, congresswoman, she was out in LA having a press conference, or like a rally. There she is, with the microphone, and pushing for the public to harass the administration, or people who work in the administration.

...

HEGSETH: When you see the rhetoric coming out of Washington from leaders, that doesn't happen in a vacuum. People watch television or read on the internet and look at what leaders say. If they say the resistance needs to go to your neighborhood, to your restaurant, to personal harassment, unfortunately you have people in this country who will take that and apply that. And that's exactly what we've seen.

EARHARDT: It's hateful and it's rude and it could lead to something very, very dangerous. It could lead to violence because you have people, their blood is just boiling. If there is a confrontation, someone could get hurt in all of this if you're asking for people to be harassed. Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a restaurant, with her family. Seven people there. Are her kids watching this? Are her kids seeing her mom being harassed just because they don't agree with her political opinions? The lady who owns this restaurant, is she allowed to do that? Is that discrimination? Are you allowed to just kick someone out because you don't agree with their policies or beliefs? Whatever happened to tolerance?
