DOUG WEAD (PRESIDENTIAL HISTORIAN): It's chilling to listen to that speech. You would think that the Democratic Party would embrace President Donald Trump because LBJ, the War on Poverty [legislation]. It promised subsidized housing; it passed out welfare based on the number of children that were born in a family; it provided food stamps. Donald Trump gave them jobs. A lot of people are -- seem to be angry about it instead of pleased.
