BILL HEMMER (CO-HOST): You talk about the deep state, take your theory one step further, in your view, where's it coming from and why?

SEAN BIGLEY (SECURITY CLEARANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY): Yeah, this is really symptomatic of a much larger problem government-wide, the [Adam] Lovinger case, and that is that you have very hostile, entrenched bureaucrats, folks who are not a fan of President Trump, and they have essentially decided that security clearances, if you will, are the low-hanging fruit. And they are using security clearances as a way to keep out Trump appointees, to keep people out of the bureaucracy who will execute the president's agenda, and what I want people to understand is that this is really part and parcel of a much larger issue, and that is, these Senate hearings, the nominees who are being held up, the longer those are held up, the more we have acting officials in these capacities, in these bureaucracies, and the more incentivized they are to not want to give up their newfound power.
