LAWRENCE JONES (CO-HOST): All right, buckle up, President Trump's tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China going into effect overnight and we're already seeing economic retaliation.
...
STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): The good news is, I read this morning that Chipotle is not going to charge more for the guacamole, which is really good. But then I'm seeing all of these stories about how the cost of a car built either in Mexico or Canada, or parts from it, could cost anywhere from an extra $4,000 to $12,000. And that's why, when the president brought in the guy from the Taiwan semiconductor company it makes it very clear, you make the stuff here, you don't have those big tariffs.
So, tonight, the president really needs to do some explaining about how we're just trying to get jobs back here. This is ultimately — there might be some pain in the beginning, but ultimately this is to help all of us.
