You have to hand it to Fox News. Even when they post a story with good news for President Obama's health care plan, and in the lead sentence no less, they still find a way to bring out the alleged negative elements in the headline.
The story out today leads with this sentence: “House Democrats said Thursday that their revamped health care reform bill would achieve the deficit reductions needed to push forward with a delicate plan to finalize the package, setting up a possible vote for Sunday.”
But the headline above it states: “Health Bill Estimated to Cost $940 Billion, Setting Up Possible Sunday Vote.”
Then there is McClatchy Newspapers, which posted an article on its Web site today touting a Congressional Budget Office report claiming the health care plan would reduce the deficit by $130 billion over 10 years, even with the same $940 billion cost.
