BRET BAIER (CO-ANCHOR): Right now, they’re going through the “reproductive freedom” block.

MARTHA MACCALLUM (CO-ANCHOR): This is one of the biggest issues for the Democrat Party. They believe that this is going to help them win in November. So, right now we are listening to some stories of people's personal experiences after the change in the abortion law. But there are voters, Hispanic voters, Black voters, lots of voters out there who -- for whom, this is not a good issue. 

HAROLD FORD JR. (CONTRIBUTOR): So, I differ slightly. I will say this. The Democrats learned from the Republicans who did this well at the convention where they had everyday people talking about these issues that really mattered to them. Look at what's happened over the last two years since Roe was overturned. Each state that has had an issue on the ballot to ensure that rights for women to be able to have an abortion are protected, they all passed, even in red states, including Virginia and Ohio.
