On Wednesday, Fox News published an article titled “Chargers’ Justin Jackson takes swipes at Democrats over policies on social media.” There was one glaring problem -- the network mistakenly used an image of Jackson’s teammate, as Jackson noted on Twitter:

Jackson joins a growing list of Black individuals whom the network has misidentified:

In 2018, during a tribute to singer Aretha Franklin, the network used an image of singer Patti LaBelle.

In 2019, Fox labeled Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) as then-Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) in a video clip. The anchor at the time blamed a “technical snafu.” 

 

And most recently, in a painfully awkward exchange, The Five co-host Jesse Watters confused CBS’ Gayle King and ABC’s Robin Roberts. Watters’ co-hosts then laughed about it.
