A Fox News producer who went on a social media rant about a parking enforcement officer “who barely spoke a lick of English” also appears to have a history of posting extreme anti-abortion comments.
Connor Clegg is a current producer on Fox prime-time show The Ingraham Angle. Before joining Fox, Clegg — according to what appears to be his LinkedIn profile — spent several years working alongside Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, working as Kirk’s social media manager, and then as a producer on his podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show. Clegg also appears to have served as a communication consultant on Kari Lake’s failed gubernatorial campaign in 2022.
Last week, Clegg apparently locked his X account after user PatriotTakes posted screenshots of a rant in which Clegg described a parking enforcement officer who attempted to tow his car as having “an accent and diction so thick and faulty it was nearing aboriginal levels.”
“How we got to the point where foreigners are given the privilege to enforce this nation’s ‘laws’ unto citizens is beyond me but I’ve had damn near enough of it,” Clegg lamented.
The post excerpting Clegg’s rant received over 300,000 views.
As of May 13, 2024, Clegg’s X account is still private.
However, a Wayback Machine capture from 2022 shows that Clegg posted several extreme anti-abortion tweets while he was a producer on The Charlie Kirk Show.
After the draft Supreme Court opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade leaked, Clegg posted.
“Here’s the thing,” he tweeted, “If you’re dumb enough to stick a coathanger into yourself AND you happen to be doing it in the name of murdering your unborn child, you won’t get an ounce of sympathy from me if something goes wrong there in your ‘back alley.’”
“Sorry not sorry, murderous scumbag,” he added.
In addition to calling a hypothetical woman seeking a “back alley” abortion a “murderous scumbag,” Clegg also posted a laser-eyes meme of conservative Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh along with the caption: “SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR ABORTIONS, WHORES.”
In another post, he mused, “Why is that the ugliest people are always the most pro-abortion?”
