Jesse Watters suggests a Secret Service cover up at the shooting by agents protecting Naomi Biden Watters: “There’s something they’re not telling us about this incident” Written by Media Matters Staff Published 11/13/23 8:56 PM EST Video file Citation From the November 13, 2023, edition of Fox News' Jesse Watters Primetime JESSE WATTERS (HOST): Secret Service agents don't fire guns to protect property. They have strict shot accountability. And Naomi Biden wouldn't have been in the car because an agent would have been in there with her. And the carjackers wouldn't have smashed a window of a vehicle to steal it with two people in it. Secret Service protocol requires the agents only discharge their weapons if the protectee or themselves are facing imminent and serious injury or death. And sources say agents are trained to almost never discharge their weapons close to their protectee. It could do a number on their eardrums for one, but there could be a misfire or you could invite return fire. Using deadly force to stop a car from being stolen in the middle of Georgetown doesn't make any sense. There's something they're not telling us about this incident so we've FOIAed the Secret Service for all relevant materials related to this situation.
