SEAN HANNITY (HOST): Doesn't Jerome Powell often talk about the independence of the Federal Reserve? And how convenient, for the first time in four years, just before -- weeks before an election, just as early voting begins in Pennsylvania now and around the country, let's drop interest rates and give people the impression that everything's better.

STEPHEN MOORE (GUEST): I think the Fed has gotten a lot of egg in their face today. I think a lot of Americans feel like the Fed has politically interfered with this election. I think Trump said something to that effect. And, so -- and you're right. Jerome Powell has said so many times, "Oh, we have to protect the Fed from political interference." HANNITY: David Asman, your take?

DAVID ASMAN (GUEST): Steve is very diplomatic, I must say. I think it's a clear case of this guy putting his finger on the scale. I mean, that's what's happening. He could've waited till -- as Steve was saying, he's waited this long. He couldn't wait a month until the election is over to do this?
