SANDRA SMITH (FOX NEWS ANCHOR): Chris, thanks for much for joining us. I'm sure you've been following the coverage throughout the day. What can you add at this hour as we await this update top of the hour?
CHRIS SWECKER (FORMER FBI ASSISTANT DIRECTOR): Yeah, Sandra, first, our prayers go to the victims and their families, and what makes this especially tragic is we have a police officer fighting for his life right now because he did the right thing, and that's, you know, that's the trend, that's where we are now when there's a shooting without any special equipment, without any real back-up, police officers have to go straight to the sound of the gunfire knowing that they may not go home that night. So, you know, this is a tragic incident. We are going to learn more about it. Sounds like there may be a workplace disgruntled employee aspect to it. Sort of fog of war still hanging over the scene now, but you know, it'll inevitably trigger discussions about the firearms and that sort of thing. I hope that the politicians and so-called leaders don't dwell on that right now and dwell on what we should, which is that we have these victims and we just have to reach out to their families.
