Hoft calls Schakowsky a “crazy radical” for accurately noting that public option would reduce deficit

In a July 25 Gateway Pundit post, Jim Hoft called Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) a “crazy radical” for saying that a public option will reduce the deficit. In fact, as Media Matters has noted, the Congressional Budget Office projects that the public option would save “about $68 billion” through 2020.

From Hoft's post:

This crazy radical just will not stop...

Do you remember when Rep. Jan Schakowsky bragged that Obama's nationalized health care plan would destroy the insurance industry?

[...]

Now this radical leftist is out telling supporters that the public option will reduce Obama's record deficit.

[...]

Sure it will, Jan.
