On BlazeTV, Glenn Beck instructs his audience to use “Dump Fox” promo code

Following Tucker Carlson’s firing at Fox News, former Fox host Glenn Beck continued his attacks on the network and instructed his listeners to join his streaming service and “use the promo code ‘question everything,’ or if it makes you feel better, ‘Dump Fox’”:

GLENN BECK (HOST): Please joins us, BlazeTV dot com slash Glenn. Use the promo code "question everything," or if it makes you feel better, "Dump Fox." You can use either that "question everything" or "Dump Fox" in the promo code and you'll save $20 now.

In his blatant attempt to self-promote off of Carlson’s recent firing from Fox News, Beck sounds remarkably similar to Media Matters’ prior “Drop Fox” campaign.

Beck has previously blamed Media Matters for a “purge” of advertisers from former Fox host Bill O’Reilly’s show and complained about boycotts on his own long-dead Fox show, which purportedly cost Fox News nearly $600,000 per week. (Fox denied this at the time but in 2013, well after Beck’s 2011 departure, a network spokesperson released a statement that claimed Beck “was trying to save his ass. Advertisers fled his show and even Glenn knows what that means in our industry. Yet, we still tried to give him a soft landing. Guess no good deed goes unpunished.”)

Beck’s brief tenure on Fox is best remembered for its rapid decline in paid advertisements, ratings, and relevance.
