Steven Crowder openly flouts YouTube, lets Alex Jones host his show and promote Infowars

While promoting Jones, Crowder’s staff openly discussed their attempts at driving YouTube subscribers to its right-wing competitor

Update (5/17/23): One day after this article’s publication, Crowder used his platform on Rumble to claim “we've been suspended and potentially permabanned from YouTube” and had “five strikes across my two YouTube channels within five minutes.”

After stating “we won’t be on YouTube for at least two weeks,” Crowder defended Alex Jones, saying “we don’t abandon our friends,” repeatedly exclaimed, “YouTube, fuck you,” and warned that his audience “are the ones who decide when it's all over. Not some pedophile sympathizer in Silicon Valley.”

After knowingly violating YouTube’s terms of service by repeatedly promoting Alex Jones’ ban-evasion links, Steven Crowder invited Jones to guest host his May 15 YouTube show. Crowder has previously earned repeated suspensions from YouTube and publicly announced his plan to evade a ban via his other YouTube channel.

Crowder co-host and Louder with Crowder CEO Gerald Morgan began the show by explaining that the “wonderful” Alex Jones would “get us kicked off of YouTube,” and directed viewers to watch the show on Rumble. In response, Jones praised Crowder’s team and declared “this is the tip of the spear in stopping the censorship”:

Later in the broadcast, Morgan told viewers that they “have to watch on Rumble because we won't be on YouTube for very long, but we want to see that thing go down. Like, I want the tick — there's going to be a celebration here when that Rumble number is way up here and that YouTube number is literally zero. I cannot wait.”

Over the course of the show, Jones was allowed to repeatedly advertise Infowars to Crowder’s audience via a nameplate graphic, as well as on-air graphics featuring ban-evasion links.

Jones additionally used his time on Crowder’s YouTube stream to claim Asians are “like Spock, on average. I’m not trying to typecast Asians, but it’s true,” and to attack President Joe Biden for warning about the threat of white supremacist violence.

Crowder’s co-host concluded the show by allowing Jones to promote Infowars’ ban evasion links, then displaying an animated Louder with Crowder mug urinating on YouTube’s logo.
