JESSICA TARLOV (CO-HOST): Dems still have the advantage because they actually are interested in making public schools better. To this banned books thing, "Beloved" by Tony Morrison, is on a banned books list. Tell me how that's about drag queen story hour.
JEANINE PIRRO (CO-HOST): Well, I could tell you other books that are.
TARLOV: Well, but you said all of these books are about things that kids shouldn't be knowing about. That -- it's a portrait of the life of a slave in this country. How does that end up on a banned book list? And those are things that people in the middle -- independents, moderate Republicans and Democrats are asking, "Why has that been looped in with CRT?" And --
GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): Maybe because the people who are doing it are nutty. Maybe -- two examples -- maybe those people are nutty --
PIRRO: It's part of the woke agenda.
GUTFELD: Or maybe it wasn't age appropriate. I have not read "Beloved." Maybe there's something in there that's not age appropriate.
TARLOV: Well, read it tonight and you get back to me tomorrow.
GUTFELD: No, I'm not going to do that. You should actually bring more facts and tell us how this happened.
TARLOV: What do you mean how it happened? They didn't want to have a conversation about racism in this country --
GUTFELD: You're saying -- you brought two examples that no one's heard of. You brought two examples that no one's heard of.
