MERCEDES SCHLAPP (CO-HOST): It is all about president of joy. And every other speech is about joy. It's incredibly strange. It actually reminds me of Karl Marx. You know, Karl Marx saying, "surround yourself with happy people," and that's what the Democrats are trying to do.
...
SCHLAPP: There is nothing joyful about socialism, there is nothing joyful about communism, and the policies that politicians implement. We've seen this in so many of these countries that have lost their countries when they have implemented socialist policies, or a communist system. It oppresses people. It makes you all have to be in line to only support one thought process, and it makes sure that the economy does not prosper. This is the type of, quote unquote, "joy" that the Democrats are pushing forward. It's very clear that Kamala's past policies have supported and are basically pushing forward this type of socialist and communist type of policies that has entered, has creeped in into America, and it is the duty of the American voter to decide which direction do they want America to go?
GREG KELLY (CO-HOST): Wow. Powerful, definitely, Mercedes. And you're right about this collective happiness thing, it is a fixture of communist countries. Take a look at these pictures. It is Kim Jong Un, big smile on his face all the time. All the happiness comes from the dear leader. This is, just as you said, out of their playbook. It is, you are happy because the state is happy. Because the group is happy. It overlooks the individual, which I think is what our Bill of Rights and Constitution is kind of all about. Right?
