But I don't have to tell you I spent a lot of time in San Bernardino over the years, and back in the 1980s, Sheriff, so I've -- I remember it --
JOHN MCMAHON: Wow.
INGRAHAM: Okay, I'm not that old, but okay, that -- nice "wow" comment there, sheriff --
MCMAHON: I grew up here, so I've been here a long time as well.
INGRAHAM: I was in college, give me a break. I was in college, but, so -- so, I know -- I know the area pretty well, I've been back a number of times. Things have changed a lot in California.
We got a lot more drugs, we have a lot more, obviously, immigrants, some illegal, some documented, but it's a different world and a lot of different concerns. A lot of great people, immigrants, nonimmigrants, but it's a different world now, and you -- you have to keep your people safe and the community safe, and a lot of this -- the COVID response is making life more difficult for you, and the community as a result.
