ROGER STONE (HOST): Let's kind of start with the question of illegal immigration. This is an issue that you had to deal with as a sheriff in Arizona. Your early impressions on the appointment of Tom Homan and his intentions.
RICHARD MACK (FOUNDER OF CONSTITUTIONAL SHERIFFS AND PEACE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION): Well, I've been in touch with Tom. I let him know about our intention to help him and help the president with the deportation. Most people think, “No, there's no way you can deport 30 million people.” Yes, there is. But identifying them will be the first key.
I highly recommend to the president — and I think I told this to Tom, we've had several conversations — but this is key. If he wants to use the military, they should be used only at the border. And that is to first stop the bleeding. So while we're trying to deport people, they don't keep coming in to where we're just spinning our wheels and going in circles at the border. The border must be secured.
I would recommend even a moratorium on all immigration until we get this entire situation resolved. I'm not against people wanting to come here. I'm not against people coming here. I'm against the criminal activity that has happened at the border and the criminal activity aiding and abetting that has happened between Harris and Biden and Mayorkas to make sure these people came in. This was willful and intentional, and this didn't happen by accident. Let's be real clear there.
Then on the other hand, how do we get these people identified and rounded up and get them out of here? Some of them will need to be arrested, like the gangs in Aurora, Colorado, and other places where these — they've committed serious crimes. Just deporting them, I don't believe, is enough. I think they need to answer for the crimes — to the crimes they have committed.
But who knows? Roger, you know the answer to this better — just as well as I do. Who knows the outlay and personality and characteristics of every county in this country? It's the county sheriff. The sheriff knows who's there. They can gather the intel as to where the international terrorists have set up shop and where they're living, the cartels, the pedophile organizations that have done this that are definitely — what has happened to our country since Biden and Harris took over? An absolute exponential increase in human trafficking, sexual exploitation of children, and drug proliferation.
We can stop and turn those around with the sheriff helping gather the intel as to where these people are, who they are, and how to get them rounded up. It's a work in progress, and we totally support Tom Homan and President Trump trying to do this. It must be done, and I believe it will be done fairly and very effectively with every sheriff helping. President Trump won about 85% of the counties in this country. Those counties now have sheriffs who are, I believe, willing to help get rid of these criminal elements in their counties. And let's make use of them.
