During the December 1 edition of Infowars' The Alex Jones Show, Ye — the rapper formerly known as Kanye West — went on an unhinged and antisemitic rant that included repeated praise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.
While being interviewed by Infowars host Alex Jones, Ye proclaimed, “I see good things about Hitler.”
“Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” Ye added.
Later, Ye said outright, “I like Hitler.”
Jones later said, “The Nazis, in my view, were thugs, they shut people down and did a lot of very bad things.”
Ye responded, “But they did good things, too. We've got to stop dissing the Nazis all of the time.”
“What I'm going to say is the Jewish media has made us feel like the Nazis and Hitler have never offered anything of value to the world,” Ye added.
Later in the interview, Ye said, “I don’t like the word evil next to Nazis,” and, “I love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis.”
Later, Ye readdressed his comments about Hitler, saying, “I don’t really care that much about Hitler, I love him,” and, “I see him as, like, a cool guy.”
He went on to say that Hitler "didn’t kill 6 million Jews, that’s just, like, factually incorrect.”
After saying “there's a lot of good Nazis that were just fighting for their country,” Ye said, “There's a lot of things that I love about Hitler. A lot of things.”
Ye also said, “The Holocaust is not what happened, let's look at the facts of that, and Hitler has a lot of redeeming qualities.”
