From the October 18 edition of Courtside Entertainment Group's The Laura Ingraham Show:
LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): What have I told you about this? Once the Republicans got back on their heels on the issue of family separation, they were all freaked out because you had all these reporters down their interviewing poor, indigent people who have been taken advantage of, most of them, as well. And the message is Republicans are horrible, awful, rotten people. Republicans don't care about these poor people from other countries and look at what they've done, these poor kids are separated, these poor kids are being bussed all over the United States. I think most Americans, of course, don't fault children. It's not their fault for their parents being so irresponsible to bring them on a thousand-plus mile trek up through dangerous Mexico.
People aren't blaming the children, they're blaming the U.S. laws not being enforced or not being properly fortified. And that's the responsibility of everyone in Congress. Republicans have had this Congress for two years, they should have already dealt with this. How many, I mean how many of my monologues have I devoted to this issue? Opening monologues on radio and opening monologues on television. Tucker's so great on this issue as well, and Hannity's fantastic on it, but I think I've -- I'm pretty sure that I've talked about this issue more than almost anyone else in the media for the last, I don’t know, 15 years. Because I saw what was happening, and there's been a complete transformation of many communities because of illegal immigration. And it's nothing to do with skin color or where you come from, it's a transformation electorally and it's a transformation of our country that no one voted for. They didn't vote for these policies.
