Discussing Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman's (CT) Democratic primary defeat to businessman Ned Lamont on the August 9 broadcast of Newsradio 850 KOA's The Mike Rosen Show, guest host and Independence Institute president Jon Caldara asked listeners, "[I]s it just that ... the Democrats hate Jews?"
From the August 9 broadcast of Newsradio 850 KOA's The Mike Rosen Show:
CALDARA: Thirty-six minutes after 9 o'clock. I'm Jon Caldara. The cut-and-run wing of the Democratic Party had a victory yesterday in Connecticut. That's a victory, by the way, for Republicans, not for Democrats. I heard some ABC analyst say, “Well, this shows the growing sentiment against the war, and it could really affect [President] George Bush in the fall. It could affect the Republican control of Congress.” No, it could help them. Democrats are being split. Democrats don't know where they stand on this war. They've turned their back against their vice presidential candidate just two years [sic] ago, the guy who actually reaches out to most mainstream America, Joe Lieberman. Or is it just that the Repub -- or the Democrats hate Jews? You tell me. 303-713-8585. Jon Caldara in for Mike Rosen.
