Lou Dobbs celebrates White House banning CNN reporter: “It's about time there were consequences for disrespectful behavior”

Dobbs: “The president does insist on respect”

Fox News executives issued a statement condemning the White House barring CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins from an open press event in the Rose Garden. Fox host Lou Dobbs, meanwhile, had other ideas.

From the July 25 edition of Fox Business' Lou Dobbs Tonight:

LOU DOBBS (HOST): Wow, today, the White House blocked a CNN reporter, Kaitlan Collins from President Trump's trade announcement with the European Union today, for shouting what they called inappropriate questions at the president.

CNN issued a statement saying in part, quote: “This decision to bar a member of the press is retaliatory in nature and not indicative of an open and free press. We demand better.”

I guess my question would be, “Who the hell are you?” The president does insist on respect.

That is, by the way, the White House Press Association is the same one that of course made us endure one Michelle Wolf. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says they told Collins another reporter from CNN could join the event, but Collins responded by saying it didn't matter to her because she hadn't planned to be there anyway.

Now, that's what -- that's what the White House has to put up with? Are you kidding me? Anyway, all I have to say about that is it's about time there were consequences for disrespectful behavior in the White House.
