LOU DOBBS (HOST): It sort of comes to a point -- the hell with process. When is -- can this president, can he basically tell Congress to go to hell here? Because otherwise they're going to have the capacity to hamstring him all of the way to November of next year, and maybe that's the decision.
The ultimate decision will be the voters deciding who's going to be president, who will control the House, who will control the Senate.
ED ROLLINS: Well, the key thing is you can't let them fast track this. They want to get this impeachment done by Thanksgiving or before, and so I would do everything I could to make sure that didn't happen. Once you drag it into next year --
DOBBS: I guess the question becomes how do you do that?
ROLLINS: You basically don't give them the stuff that they ask for until they prove why they need it. They still have not charged him with a single crime.
DOBBS: So, why not put this before the Supreme Court?
ROLLINS: Well, I'm all for that. I think the bottom line is that let the court decide this and it will take months and months and months to do that.
