Morning Joe at MSNBC took on the issue of Sarah Palin in 2012 today, with more views that she could get the GOP presidential nomination.
“I think Sarah's going to run for president. I see her winning,” Chris Matthews said on the show, referring to the Republican nomination. “It's very simple. She wins in Iowa because the evangelicals will vote for her.”
He adds that she could do well in New Hampshire, South Carolina, and in Michigan “beats the hell out of” Mitt Romney who “is not a politician.” “Nobody can stop her,” he says and adds it could be “an early knockout.”
Added Mark Halperin: “She could do all that getting in the race at the last minute.”
Mike Barnicle said the victory scenario is “very plausible,” but said it would be “an automatic, guaranteed re-election for Barack Obama.”
