MIKA BRZEZINSKI: After a statewide recount and a seven-week trial, a Minnesota court is confirming Democrat Al Franken won the U.S. Senate race against Republican incumbent Norm Coleman.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: OK, I don't mean to keep interrupting your news, but when are the Republicans going to give up the ghost on this?
BRZEZINSKI: Yeah.
SCARBOROUGH: Seriously. Norm, I like you. You lost, OK?
BRZEZINSKI: Yeah.
SCARBOROUGH: Can we -- can we seat a senator so --
BRZEZINSKI: Yeah, we need -- we need to --
SCARBOROUGH: -- Amy doesn't have to do the job of two senators. This is not --
BRZEZINSKI: Poor [Sen.] Amy Klobuchar [D-MN].
SCARBOROUGH: Seriously, it's not fair to the --
BRZEZINSKI: It's not.
SCARBOROUGH: It is seriously not fair to constituents in Minnesota to drag this out any longer.
BRZEZINSKI: I think that is true.
