STEVE KORNACKI (HOST): This is very big news from the world of politics, the world of media, and the news is that Roger Ailes has now resigned as chairman and CEO of the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, and as chairman for Fox television stations. 21st Century Fox putting out a statement now, Rupert Murdoch will assume the role of chairman and acting CEO of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network. Ailes has been with Fox News since its founding. He is the architect of the Fox News Channel. Of course, he was recently accused of sexual harassment by a former anchor at Fox News, Gretchen Carlson. Again, this is a story with significant ramifications in the world of media, in the world of politics, in the 2016 presidential campaign.
