NICOLLE WALLACE (HOST): Fox News strongly condemned Pirro's comments, however Fox News didn't go as far in rebuking Tucker Carlson who's facing his own backlash following a dump of audio recordings taken from radio appearances he made between 2006 and 2011. Those recordings were released by liberal advocacy group Media Matters.

...

KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: You can't tell where the White House begins and where Fox News ends, and vice versa. And it's 14 hours of hate, violence, and just disgusting behavior and they've created this environment, they own now Tucker Carlson and Jeanine Pirro and also as well it's not surprising that they said these things.

...

HEIDI PRZYBYLA: And I think what we learned from Jane Meyer's excellent reporting is that this was a business model long before Doanld Trump came on the scene, that fanning the cultural and ethnic wars.

WALLACE: And your point is that he stepped in.

PRZYBYLA: He stepped into that but this was something that was created as a business model to appeal to the quote, unquote “football viewer”, whatever that means, according to Jane's reporting long before Donald Trump came on the scene and you're seeing manifestation of this drive to kind of rile up the base on a daily basis now.
