On today's “Open Line Friday,” Rush wasted no time in attacking the Obama administration for the June employment report. Rush jumped on Nancy Pelosi's unemployment benefits remark, asking “Does this indicate that she thinks we're all stupid?” “Or is it that she is?” He added that a Republican who made Pelosi's comment would be “drummed out of town.” Rush then reiterated that the whole country is “Obamaville,” and stated that Democrats are trying to create a “perpetual underclass” that is “enslaved to the Democrat Party.”
Rush continued, saying, “We are now governed by people who do not like the country” and “our greatest threat ... is internal.” He also floated the theory that Obama “doesn't intend to” grow private sector jobs because “it's payback time” for years of injustice in America.
Rush additionally spent some time lobbing attacks at the President and First Lady. Rush stated that President Obama is “no different than Castro, in the sense that” neither will be stopped by a governing document. He also asserted that "[w]e are not a Third World country here, putting up shacks and huts like the president's brother lives in." And if that wasn't bad enough, Rush "speculate[d]" that Michelle Obama did not attend the late Sen. Robert Byrd's funeral because of her “authentic slave blood.”
