CHARLIE KIRK (HOST): So, Alex, first, I wanna talk about Ukraine. Zelensky is waltzing into the White House here. What should we make of this proposed Ukrainian mineral deal and the Russian Ukrainian truce — truce?
ALEX MARLOW (BREITBART): OK. So first of all, Charlie, you get a shout out here that you were not anticipating. So something amazing happened over the last six-to-nine months here with regard to the national narrative when it comes to Ukraine. The whole intention of the Democrat Party was to run in 2024 on that Russia was going to take over all of Europe if Donald Trump is elected. This was going to be one of the things that had happened. Now I had happened to write, in 2023, I would say pretty decisively, that Putin didn't want to invade Ukraine originally and only did so because of the terrible foreign policy of Joe Biden, and I stuck it all in Joe Biden as best I could. And all of a sudden, by the summer of 2024, this had become a mainstream point to the point where Trump was campaigning on it, David Sacks was talking about it at the RNC. What people don't know is that Charlie was absolutely instrumental to me coming up with that idea. And the — it's behind the scenes stuff, and people don't know that, but Charlie's tentacles are that big. And that talking point got mainstreamed. And now all of a sudden, not only could Biden not run on the Ukraine war, Trump was using it as a weapon, but Trump is not done.
Trump has — is on a mission to tell the truth about Russia, which is that Trump was much harder on Russia than Joe Biden or Barack Obama or George Bush, all of whom Russia invaded nations during their presidencies, not President Trump's presidency. Trump, on the other hand, killed Wagner troops in Syria. He tried to block the Nordstream pipeline, recommended against it. He crushed Russia's energy sector by drilling here and trying to put pressure on Nordstream, etc. Trump sold Ukraine weapons proactively before there was an invasion. Nothing that Biden did. Biden waited until Ukraine invaded. So Trump is on a mission here to set the record straight. And not only that, he wants to recuperate all this money that America lost during the Ukraine war by sending all that money to, not just to Ukraine, but apparently to ski resorts according to Tucker all over — all over Europe that Ukrainian oligarchs were spending. So Trump came up with this brilliant move that he's going to take Ukraine's minerals or part of it. Zelensky said, no. Well, I'm not gonna have this. And then Putin responded and said, hey, we got a lot of minerals. We'll cut you in on some of ours. We'll take over Ukraine's. We'll cut you in on some of that. And now all of a sudden, Zelensky's back at the table saying, you know what, President Trump? I really liked your original idea. Let's come up with a deal. You guys can get half, and we can start brokering a piece here. That's the what's going on here, and all this could come to a conclusion today at the White House.
