So Author Joe McGinniss moved next door to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as part of research for a book on the 2008 GOP Veep candidate. Sounds like a good idea.
But apparently it is causing more news than the book itself likely will. The latest, McGinniss on Today this morning firing back at Palin's complaints about his move, which have also sparked her building a fence on the property.
“Sarah, hysterically, puts up this Facebook page with all sorts of ugly innuendo, which frankly, is revolting the things she has caused people to say about me,” McGinniss said in the interview. He also said death threats have been made against him and compared Palin's response to Nazi-like tactics.
“I need to be in Wasilla to do my work,” he added. “I'm here to talk to people who've known them for 40 years in Wasilla.”
Expect a lively summer in the sleepy Alaska town.
