I had to chuckle when I read this from James Taranto at the WSJ, with regards to David Weigel's recent WashPost resignation:
On Friday The Daily Caller published excerpts from Weigel's Journolist messages on other days, and some of them were considerably worse than the quotes he had revealed himself. He used a Watergate-era obscenity to describe opponents of ObamaCare, referred to Sarah Palin's “death panel lie,” and made baseless accusations of racism.
So according to Taranto, among the alleged sins Weigel committed while being a member of a listserv called Journolist was that in one of his off-the-record emails Weigel accurately referred to Palin's “death panel” lie as ... a lie.
No wonder conservatives were outraged!
