GREGG JARRETT: This was the correct ruling by the federal district judge, and he relied in large part on the U.S. Supreme Court ruling a week ago today. The Supreme Court made an important point, they said the COVID virus is not strictly an occupational hazard in the workplace, it's a hazard everywhere. It's universal. It's not unique to the workplace, and so President Joe Biden and OSHA both were exceeding their authority.
And you know, I'm just reading Page 15 of the 20 page order by the District Court judge, and he said, "Look, yes, there is a federal statute that gives the president power to regulate the conduct of the federal workforce," but the judge says, "Look, this is not conduct. This is the power of the president imposing a medical procedure on civilian federal employees. It affects them both in and outside the workplace." And you know, you played that soundbite of Fauci, and it's very revealing.
This is what has given so many people who don't want or won't get the vaccination, they -- yes, it appears to be safe now, but we're only a year into it.
What about five years, 10 years, 20 years from now? Is there a long term negative impact for taking the vaccine?
I mean, I took it. I've been boosted, but I worry frequently whether I've made the wrong decision, and I respect the rights of people to make their own decisions about their own body.
