Hannity claimed ABC might suggest Hitler's death would cause “more harm than good,” added that CNN is bin Laden's “favorite channel”

On his nationally syndicated radio show, Fox News host Sean Hannity -- after reading the headline of a story on ABC News' website about the death of terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi that asked “Al-Zarqawi Killing, More Harm Than Good?” -- commented that “if Adolf Hitler was dead,” ABC News would write the headline: “Adolf Hitler Dead, More Harm Than Good?” Hannity also proclaimed that CNN is Osama bin Laden's “favorite channel.”

On the June 9 edition of his nationally syndicated radio show, Fox News host Sean Hannity commented on headlines featured on CNN's and ABC News' websites covering the death of terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. After reading the ABC News headline, "Al-Zarqawi Killing, More Harm Than Good?," Hannity stated that “if Adolf Hitler was dead,” ABC News would write the headline: “Adolf Hitler Dead, More Harm Than Good?” Hannity then read the CNN.com headline, "Analysis: Bin Laden might find relief in al-Zarqawi's death," and proclaimed, “I guarantee you that bin Laden is looking at this and he's seeing these videos, because apparently we're told he watches his favorite channel -- CNN.”

HANNITY: Now, how do our friends at ABC News handle this? Well, I'm looking at ABC News: “Al-Zarqawi Killing, More Harm Than Good?” question mark. Now, I don't know who writes the headlines over at ABC News, but, folks, what the heck are you thinking? You know, what would you say if Adolf Hitler was dead, “Adolf Hitler Dead, More Harm Than Good?” I mean, that's how absurd that headline is. That's how idiotic, imbecilic, and, by the way, agenda-driven the news media is today. They just don't get it. They don't have a clue.

Let me give you another example of a brilliant liberal-media headline, this one on CNN.com, “Analysis: Bin Laden might find relief in al-Zarqawi's death.” Bin Laden may be happy that al-Zarqawi is dead, another absurd notion. I guarantee you that bin Laden is looking at this and he's seeing these videos, because apparently we're told he watches his favorite channel -- CNN, and maybe they actually showed it one time. But if you're a terrorist and you're as big as bin Laden, and you see al-Zarqawi, your lead guy, the guy that you appointed, as a matter of fact the guy that you said is the prince of Al Qaeda in Iraq that is al-Zarqawi. Are you looking at that house in the middle of a neighborhood, and a big X on it and two 500-pound bombs dropped on his head, and you're thinking, “Oh I'm glad they got him”?
